Abstract:The classical Newtonian potential theory of Laplace equation plays an important role in mathematics and mathematical physics. On the other hand, nonlinear PDE problems appear widely in modern geometry and physics. It is natural to develop the potential theory for nonlinear PDEs. In this series of talks, we will give an introduction to the nonlinear potential theory for some important divergence type equations, including p-Laplace equation, Hessian equations as well as curvature equations, etc.
报告人简介:周斌,男,1982年生。2004年本科毕业于北京师范大学,2010年于北京大学和澳大利亚国立大学获得博士学位。研究方向为复几何与几何分析,于2018年获得国家优秀青年科学基金。
