报告题目：On Ideal Incompressible MHD With Closed Free Surfaces.

报告摘要：

In this talk, I will discuss some results on a free boundary problem of ideal incompressible MHD, and illustrate the significance of the Taylor sign condition for this problem, for the ill-posedness when it is violated and linearized well-posedness when it holds, with the emphasize for the case when the free boundary is a closed surface or curve, in 3-D and 2-D respectively. This talk is based on the joint work with Chengchun Hao.

专家简介：

罗涛教授，于1995年于中国科学院数学研究所获得博士学位。后于美国密歇根大学（University of Michigan）, 乔治城大学（Georgetown University）历任助理教授，副教授，及教授。于2016年至今于香港城市大学任教授。罗涛教授的主要研究领域为流体力学中的非线性偏微分方程。近期主要研究兴趣为流体力学及磁流体中非线性偏微分方程的自由边界问题。多篇研究成果发表于 Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Arch. Rational Mech. Anal., Comm. Math. Phys.等国际著名刊物。
